Cloud Data Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of our cloud-based data infrastructure.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). They will be hands-on with Google Cloud Storage (GCS), BigQuery (BQ), Apache Airflow, and Python, and adept at managing complex data workflows and transformations at scale.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Cloud Computing: In-depth experience with GCP core services like GCS, BigQuery, IAM, and Cloud Functions.
  • Big Data Analytics: Expertise in data modeling, performance tuning, and large-scale analytics using BigQuery.
  • Cloud Storage: Strong understanding of data storage, access patterns, and integration with GCS.
  • Apache Airflow: Experience in authoring and managing DAGs for complex workflows.
  • Python Scripting: Proficient in scripting and automation, including working with APIs, data processing libraries (e.g., pandas, PySpark), and custom operators in Airflow.
