Production Leadership Opportunity

This role demands leadership, technical expertise, and a results-oriented approach.

The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end operations across production, quality, maintenance, and material flow to ensure optimal resource utilization and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive daily, weekly, and monthly production target achievement in alignment with customer orders and business commitments.
  • Monitor line-wise productivity and take timely corrective measures to address shortfalls.
  • Support capacity planning and scheduling to ensure smooth operations.
  • Implement process improvement methods such as Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen.
  • Minimize downtime and ensure compliance with statutory norms, safety protocols, and labor laws.
  • Ensure all products meet defined quality standards (AQL, buyer specifications).
  • Support regular quality checks and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Assist in waste reduction, improving cost efficiency, and optimizing resource usage.
  • Supervise and guide production supervisors, quality leads, and support staff.
  • Monitor individual and team performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Foster discipline, accountability, and a performance-driven culture.
  • Prepare regular reports on production and performance metrics.
  • Closely coordinate with Factory Manager, Merchandising, and Supply Chain teams to meet delivery timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: B.Tech / B.E. (Textile / Garment Technology) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 12 years in apparel manufacturing with significant exposure to high-volume production.
  • Proven experience in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing targets.
  • Sound knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, sewing line balancing, fabric types, trims, and finishing.
