Factory Logistics Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Factory Logistics Operations Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials, assembly materials, PPEs and consumables in the shopfloor as per production plan.
  • Issue materials from various warehouses to production with the aid of materials handling equipment such as RGV, AGV, Forklifts, BOPTs, HOPTs, Stalkers and Conveyors.
  • Allocate manpower for kitting/de-palletizing, palletising packing, material issues and internal scrap movement.
  • Ensure zero stock variance through stock reconciliation, cycle counting and variance analysis.
  • Transfer various scrap (hazardous and non-hazardous) to designated areas.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders including production planning, process, maintenance, quality, IT contractors and SCM to ensure fulfillment of business requirements.
  • Ensure required entries and documentation are maintained as per standard operating procedures in SAP.
Requirements:
  • Deliver right materials to production at the right time and place.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to avoid production stoppages due to material unavailability.
  • Train manpower to use related equipment effectively.

This is a challenging role that requires strong logistics management skills, excellent communication abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
