Job Title: Workday Expense Analyst

This role is responsible for providing subject matter expertise on Workday best practices and working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless ongoing enhancements of new Workday features and functionality.

The primary point of contact for data gathering, testing, and communication with key stakeholders and internal Business Systems teams.

  • Designing, configuring, testing, and deploying leading practice-based business processes and solutions using Workday enabled finance Expenses workstream(s).
  • Providing Workday subject matter functional expertise for day-to-day support and development, including business process configuration, integrations, data transmission, testing, and troubleshooting primarily in the Expense Module.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and seamless ongoing enhancements of new Workday features and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with COE(s) to understand pain points, prioritize requirements, and identify opportunities to improve processes and gain efficiency by leveraging Workday functionality.
  • Leading Workday enabled finance Expenses workstream(s) to design, configure, test, and deploy leading practice-based business processes and solutions.
  • Gathering configuration requirements and problem-solving with business stakeholders.
  • Broadening internal knowledge of Workday configuration through hands-on training to cross-functional teams.
  • Providing a proactive interface between business partner groups and the Workday team to ensure effective coordination and delivery of Workday implementations.
  • Building reports to support both domestically and internationally for various areas of the Workday product.
  • Ability to problem-solve and propose multiple solutions for business requirements within Workday.
  • Managing Workday upgrades and implementing new and revised functionality within Workday.
  • Partnership with HR teams to analyze business needs and translate them into technical requirements and solutions within the Workday ecosystem.
  • Optimizing business processes by enhancing workflows, automating manual tasks, and providing actionable insights through data reporting and analytics.
  • Creating and maintaining clear, comprehensive, documented business requirements for requested changes, enhancements, or projects; accountable for articulating functional processes from beginning to end and providing thought leadership on functionality and design.
