Job Title: Senior JavaScript QA

Luxoft is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior JavaScript QA to join their team.

  • You will work in an Agile environment using Microsoft Visual Studio, GitHub, and Atlassian stack (Jira & Confluence) to test applications.
  • Develop and elaborate test plans and test cases with well-documented scenarios for new frontend web applications and REST APIs.
  • Design and develop automated scripts with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Cypress to ensure high test coverage according to industry best practices.
  • Perform manual testing as needed and document results according to industry standards.
  • Participate in requirement gathering with the development team to identify optimal solutions for new applications and their services.
  • Elaborate technical documentation on performed work according to industry standards and best practices.

Mandatory Skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Test Automation using known software testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of QA and development methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Good coding skills in JavaScript.
  • Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., Gitlab, Jira, VSTS, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-dependent problem-solving skills.
  • High-level English language proficiency.
  • Understanding of APIs.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Web automation testing experience.
  • Server-side automation testing experience.
