About the Role

Bonito Designs is a leading interior design company seeking an exceptional Design Operations Director to lead our Mumbai Experience Center team. This is a critical role that requires a unique blend of design expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing scalable processes to improve efficiency, drive customer satisfaction, and deliver timely project results. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to build tools and systems that enhance productivity and efficiency.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for design operations, aligning with company goals and objectives.
  • Build and manage a high-performing design operations team, focusing on talent development and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with technology and product teams to design and implement efficient workflows and systems.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, and project management.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Design Sign-off: Ensure timely completion of designs, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Design Timeline: Manage project timelines effectively, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
  • Snag-Free Designs: Minimize errors and snags in the design stage, impacting overall customer experience and profitability.
  • Happy Customers (Net Promoter Score): Drive customer satisfaction through exceptional design services and timely delivery.
  • Happy Teammates (Employee Satisfaction): Foster a positive and productive work environment, motivating employees to achieve their best.
Requirements
  • Tier-1 design school graduate with strong business acumen.
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in similar roles, leading large creative teams (50+).
  • Solid understanding of interior standards, execution experience, material costing, and time management.
  • Practical knowledge of materials and products related to interior design.
  • Entrepreneurial drive, looking for opportunities and scope for innovation.
  • Passion for maintaining high team productivity through processes and data implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in planning & management.
What We Offer
