A Senior IT Infrastructure Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, maintenance, and support of physical and virtual infrastructure within a data center. This role ensures high availability, security, and optimal performance of servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling systems while adhering to best practices and compliance standards.
The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for maintaining the IT infrastructure layers at an airport, including networks, data centers, information security, subsystem servers/compute layer, to ensure service availability. Ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and information systems are key responsibilities.
This role requires collaboration with outsourcing partners to manage infrastructure-related service delivery for an airport ecosystem and users. The manager must define and govern SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs for on-prem cloud service delivery, manage service catalog offerings, and lead compliance checks and audits.
The job also involves implementing new requirements/change management processes for cloud resources, monitoring performance of cloud infrastructure devices, managing capacity planning/utilization/forecasting, and optimizing compute, memory, and storage.
Cybersecurity management is another critical aspect of this role, involving identifying, recommending, implementing, and maintaining necessary security enforcement and monitoring solutions to protect operational environments from external/internal security threats.
Fully qualified candidates will possess a Btech with MBA or MCA degree and have 12-15 years of experience in IT infrastructure/cloud operations, with 5+ years in managing private cloud environments.
Broadly, this role requires exceptional technical skills, excellent leadership abilities, and effective communication skills. A highly organized approach, strong analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this position.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Btech with MBA or MCA degree
- 12-15 years of experience in IT infrastructure/cloud operations
- 5+ years in managing private cloud environments
