Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Merchandising Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the merchandising process from start to finish, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and are delivered on time.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Fabric Sourcing: Source and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and accessories to meet product requirements.
  • Sample Development: Coordinate with the production team to develop samples, including fabric selection, construction, fit, and quality.
  • Quality Control: Review and approve samples to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
  • Planning and Scheduling: Develop yearly and monthly production plans, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Vendor Management: Identify and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure consistent quality and timely delivery of materials.
  • Costing and Budgeting: Prepare cost estimates, manage budgets, and track expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, ensure timely replenishment, and manage stock levels to minimize excess inventory.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years in textile engineering, fashion merchandising, or related field.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of textile manufacturing processes, production management software, pricing, and profitability analysis.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and time-management abilities, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
