Key Business Analyst Role

About the Role:

This position plays a pivotal part in ensuring that our software solutions align with business needs. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues and internal teams to gather and analyze requirements for solutions centered on Teamcenter.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for software solutions.
  • Design efficient solutions using Teamcenter and supporting tools, ensuring they meet scalability and business needs.
  • Develop solution concepts in close collaboration with the solution architect.
  • Document business requirements, solution concepts, and specifications in Jira and Confluence according to the BMW Agile Working Model.
  • Lead implementation of solutions with focus on Teamcenter, adhering to best practices and standards.
  • Ensure proper documentation of implemented solutions, including test cases in Confluence.
  • Organize training sessions and workshops for business colleagues and team members on Teamcenter functionalities.
  • Monitor and evaluate solution performance, making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, focusing on Teamcenter.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for international team collaboration.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies and architectural principles.
  • Proficiency in Teamcenter Manufacturing (server side and client side) and its features.
  • Experience in Teamcenter customization with ITK, RAC, AWC, BMIDE.
  • Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, LINUX, and WINDOWS servers.
  • Agile project experience.
Desirable Skills:
  • Certifications related to Teamcenter Manufacturing or similar.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and integration platforms.
  • ItO production system design process experience.
  • Project management tool experience is a plus.
  • Fluent German language skills.
