Job Title: Opportunity Developer

The Opportunity Developer plays a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying and capturing new opportunities in both public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies to effectively capture new business through teaming, pricing, and proposal development.
  • Scan and evaluate markets to identify potential opportunities for the organization.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to prepare for upcoming procurements and external partners to drive the proposal process to successful completion.
  • Review and qualify RFIs and RFPs, and lead the preparation of written proposals by developing concepts, gathering information, and finalizing drafts for submission.
  • Maintain reference databases for technical, management, and past performance information.
  • Develop compliant and compelling content leveraging industry knowledge and expertise.
  • Conduct after-action reviews for all contracts and document lessons learned to inform future capture activities.

Experience Requirements:

  • Proven experience in capture-related activities for Federal or State procurements.
  • A strong track record of winning staffing and SOW-based proposals in the Public Sector.
  • Demonstrated capability to write clear, logical, and persuasive documents that meet client needs.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills with an understanding of cost and financial considerations.
  • Knowledge of GSA and other Federal Schedules.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g. English, Journalism, Communications).

  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to develop high-quality documents and presentations.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects and tasks to successful completion.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
