Senior Snowflake Developer

We are seeking a seasoned data expert to lead full lifecycle implementations from secure platform setup and cloud integration to high-performance data pipeline development.

About the Role:

A senior developer is required to work on Snowflake, architect scalable infrastructure using Terraform or Pulumi and develop robust CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Snowflake Platform Setup: Lead secure platform setup, environment provisioning, RBAC, and resource optimization.
  2. Infrastructure Architecture: Architect scalable, secure infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or Pulumi (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  3. CICD Pipelines: Build robust CI/CD pipelines and integrate with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
  4. ETL ELT Pipelines: Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt, Airflow, or custom Python solutions.
  5. Data Ingestion: Ingest and transform data from APIs, SaaS apps, and event streams.
  6. Data Security: Ensure data security, lineage tracking, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2).
  7. Collaboration: Partner closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.
Requirements:
  1. Data Engineering Experience: 5+ years in data engineering or platform operations.
  2. Snowflake Expertise: 3+ years of deep Snowflake hands-on experience (performance, security, cost).
  3. Technical Skills: Strong with SQL, Python, Terraform/YAML, and Git workflows.
  4. CI CD Knowledge: Proven CI/CD and DevOps knowledge.
  5. Cloud Experience: Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Nice to Have:
  1. SnowPro Certification: SnowPro Advanced (Architect or Data Engineer) certification.
  2. dbt Fivetran Experience: Experience with dbt, Fivetran, Informatica, or Matillion.
  3. Kafka Databricks Familiarity: Familiarity with Kafka, Delta Lake, Iceberg, or Databricks.
  4. SaaS Industry Experience: Background in SaaS or regulated industries like finance or healthcare.
