Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and manage our enterprise-level data governance initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in data governance frameworks, including configuration, integration, workflow development, and stakeholder engagement.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced individual to drive data governance excellence across our organization. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of data governance principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation and administration of data governance platforms.
  • Design and configure data governance models, including domains, assets, workflows, and roles.
  • Develop and maintain custom workflows using BPMN and other scripting languages.
  • Integrate data governance platforms with enterprise systems using APIs and connectors.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and enforce data governance policies.
  • Implement and monitor data quality rules, lineage, and metadata management.
  • Provide training and support to business and technical users on data governance best practices.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with internal and external data governance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or data quality.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with data governance platforms, including configuration, workflow development, and integration.
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data stewardship, and data lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in data governance APIs, BPMN, and scripting languages.
  • Experience with data cataloging, lineage, and business glossary.
  • Familiarity with data platforms like Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Informatica, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
