Job Title: Senior Baking Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and produce a wide range of baked goods, desserts, and pastries according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation while adhering to strict health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the pastry team to achieve set production targets, ensuring timely delivery of products to meet customer demands.
  • Contribute to menu planning, development, and implementation, incorporating feedback from customers and staff members.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining storage areas to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety protocols and reporting any incidents or concerns to supervisors.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in baking techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety.
  • Support other departments as needed, providing excellent customer service and promoting a positive work environment.

Qualifications and Education:

  • Minimum two years' experience in a similar role, preferably in an upscale hotel, resort, or cruise ship setting.
  • Completion of high school or basic education equivalency requirement.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
