Job Description

A Product Manager for an SMTP product typically has a dynamic and multifaceted role.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the team to adhere to company values and ethical framework.
  • Empowering and managing direct reports and others in the organization.
  • Driving high performance by overseeing effective career management and providing equitable opportunities.
  • Acting as a role model for own team, communicating business objectives and ensuring regular performance reviews.

Shared Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring availability of end user products to underpin the banks delivery of core business applications.
  • Implementing architectural standards within end user device products in line with all control function requirements and policies.
  • Procuring underpinning contracts to support the supply chain and services from resellers and managed service providers.
  • Enforcing End User Availability Management standards.
  • Engaging with business stakeholders and customers.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing strategy and roadmap for Mail Enabled Applications, SMTP infrastructure, and Mailing lists.
  • Ensuring technology roadmap compliance for all Mail Enabled Applications, SMTP infrastructure, and Mailing lists.
  • Defining requirements and prioritization of work for Mail Enabled Applications, SMTP infrastructure, and Mailing lists.
  • Owning risks associated with email platforms.
  • Working knowledge on SDLC platforms and Agile methodology.
  • Defining and maintaining Azure Services.
  • Stakeholder engagement and ITAO for relevant products.
  • Vendor governance of outsourced components and services.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Understanding of how Mail Enabled Applications, SMTP infrastructure, and Mailing lists works.
  • Working knowledge of SDLC and Agile.
  • Experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and vendor management.
  • Cost and budget management.
  • Product adoption and forecasting.
  • Strategy, Product Roadmap, and Risk management.
