Senior Science Leader

As a senior science leader, you will oversee the development and implementation of quality management systems for pharmaceutical products. You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as cGMP, and maintain high standards in quality, ethics, health, safety, environment, protection, and information security.

  • Develop and implement quality management strategies to meet customer needs.
  • Establish and maintain GMP management systems and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Coach and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Support training programs and implementation of SOPs, GMP, GLP, QM, HSE, ISRM, and Novartis Guidelines.
  • Prepare and perform GMP audits, including organize and track follow-up action items.
  • Lead initiatives to ensure continuous improvement and optimize project-related scientific/technical activities or processes.
  • Provide scientific and technical guidance and foster knowledge exchange within the team.
  • Mentor and coach other scientific associates to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Contribute to publications, presentations, and patents.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., analytical/pharmacy/chemistry) or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in a related field or 5+ years with a PhD in science.
  • Proven expertise in a GxP area with a scientific and strategic background.
  • Understanding of drug development processes and proficiency in quality principles driving drug development.
  • Broad scientific and strategic background with advanced coaching skills.
  • Track record of innovation, creativity, problem-solving, and productivity.
