Job Title:
Chemical Compound Synthesist

Syngene is seeking a highly skilled Chemical Compound Synthesist to join our team. As a key member of our Discovery Chemistry department, you will be responsible for designing and conducting experiments to synthesize novel compounds.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in organic synthesis and reaction mechanisms, with the ability to think creatively and solve complex problems independently.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about chemistry and has excellent analytical interpretation and purification skills. You should be familiar with the safe handling of chemicals and have knowledge of emergency response procedures.

As a Chemical Compound Synthesist, you will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop and implement new synthesis strategies. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of all synthesized compounds, and for contributing to the development of procedures and practices that ensure safe operations and compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and conduct experiments to synthesize novel compounds

Requirements:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry
  • 2-12 years of experience in chemical synthesis
  • Excellent analytical interpretation and purification skills
  • Familiarity with the safe handling of chemicals and emergency response procedures
