Location:

We have offices in New York, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, London, and Gurgaon, with this role based out of our Gurgaon office. You will enjoy a flexible work arrangement, with the option to work two days in the office and three days from home.

About the Role:

The Affiliate Shopping team is expanding its product testing efforts, and we are seeking a Product Sourcing Coordinator to assist with calling in products for review. This role will serve as the primary point of contact between our shopping editors and PR representatives for the merchants featured in our content. Using product details provided by the editorial team, you will identify and contact PR reps to request sample products for testing, track shipments and deliveries, and maintain our product-testing database.

Your Day-to-Day:
  • Utilize internal contacts and internet research to identify the best PR representative for each product requested by the shopping team.
  • Act as a liaison between shopping editors and merchant reps, communicating specific product details and answering merchant questions as necessary to secure sample products.
  • Collaborate with shopping editors to identify the appropriate product tester for each sample and communicate testing expectations and discuss availability with freelancers and internal staff.
  • Monitor product shipments and deliveries in our product testing database and contact stakeholders as needed to communicate delays or changes.
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of experience with project-based work demonstrating strong organization skills.
  • Fluency in the English language.
  • English or Communications degree or a related field.
  • Strong writing skills and some editing or copy-editing experience.
  • Clear and timely written communication skills, with proactive follow-up being a key aspect of this role.
  • Comfort with multitasking, as you will be sourcing many products simultaneously.
  • Interest in marketing, communications, or content operations.
