Job Overview

As a Technical Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a global team, ensuring they meet performance standards and align their work with company strategic goals. This is a key leadership role that requires strong leadership and team management skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing offshore contractors, facilitating communication between teams, monitoring performance, allocating resources efficiently, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Team Management: Oversee the offshore contractors, ensuring they are meeting their job responsibilities and performance standards.
  • Coordination: Facilitate communication and cross-functional collaboration between offshore contractors and onshore teams.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and assess the performance of offshore contractors, providing feedback and implementing improvement plans as necessary.
  • Resource Allocation: Ensure that the offshore team is adequately staffed and that resources are allocated efficiently to meet project deadlines.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with offshore vendors, ensuring that contracts are adhered to and that the quality of work meets company standards.
  • Reporting: Generate and present regular reports on the performance and progress of the offshore team to senior management.

  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with CIAM and SIEM & SOAR technologies, including products such as Ping Identity, Okta, Transmit Security, and Splunk.
Requirements
  • At least 7+ years of experience in technology project management, with a focus on managing offshore teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
