Job Title: Technical Product Manager

We are seeking a skilled Senior Technical Product Manager to spearhead the development and deployment of complex business technology solutions into production.

About this Role

This role requires an individual with exceptional leadership abilities, technical expertise, and strong communication skills to lead cross-functional teams in planning, designing, and delivering software solutions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Business requirement understanding, writing user stories, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and working closely with development teams for planning and solutioning.
  • Collaborating with other teams to understand current and future requirements; suggesting solutions and alternatives to transform business processes through technology.
  • Facilitating design, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of the CPQ application as well as other declarative parts of the Salesforce platform.
  • Partnering with business domain leaders to create a robust enterprise application roadmap and ensuring it is well understood throughout the business functions and meets emerging requirements.
  • Driving the planning, prioritization, JIRA user stories, design, development, and deployment of new projects and system enhancements.
  • Collaborating with Business Systems Analysts and Product Managers across US and offshore locations to drive work initiatives.
  • Supporting existing Salesforce CPQ and Billing solutions, working on production support, troubleshooting issues, and implementing small to large enhancements.
  • Contributing to large strategic projects and/or new solutions in the Quote-to-Cash space.
  • Delivering Salesforce platform updates as a key member responsible for the design, development, and release of strategic projects.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of IT experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, computer engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
  • 3+ years of experience as a business analyst/product manager supporting the Salesforce CPQ platform.
  • Deep understanding of the Salesforce.com product suite, including CPQ, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, FSL, Community Cloud, and AppExchange.
  • Managing application development at scale, employing SDLC methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and DevOps.
  • Strong subject matter expertise with core SaaS principles: product setup, product options, product configuration & rules, pricing, quoting, subscription management, amendments, renewals, billing, and revenue recognition.
  • Skilled at setting and communicating priorities effectively; able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Exceptional ability to lead change using positive and collaborative methods.
  • Strong communication skills in writing, speaking, and presenting.
  • Able to communicate technical or complex subject matter in business terms.
  • Demonstrated acumen and passion for both business and technology, including the latest digital innovations as they apply to the creation of business value.
  • Accepts ownership and welcomes responsibility.
Preferred Skills/Experiences:
  • Project Management.
  • CPQ Specialist certification is a huge plus.
  • Salesforce Admin Certification (201) and Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant Preferred.
