Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned automation engineer with expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Java, and ETL testing to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts that validate both UI functionality and data integrity across ETL processes.

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC), and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java, performing ETL testing, writing and executing SQL queries, and ensuring functional correctness of web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
  • Perform ETL testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to validate data at the source, staging, and target systems.
  • Perform UI testing to ensure functional correctness of web applications.
  • Validate that data displayed in UI matches the underlying database (end-to-end).
  • Identify, analyze, and report defects, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Work in Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to test frameworks and reusable components for automation.
  • Ensure test coverage, traceability, and adherence to QA standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 4–6 years of experience in QA Automation Testing.
  • Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java.
  • Hands-on experience in ETL/Data Warehouse testing.
  • Proficiency in SQL queries for data validation.
  • Experience in TestNG / JUnit frameworks.
  • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
