Workday Technical Consultant Role

We are seeking an experienced Workday Financial Management implementation expert to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver seamless solutions aligned with business objectives.

  • Candidates will have a strong background in implementing, integrating, and supporting Workday Financial Management systems.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and maintaining complex integrations using Workday Studio and EIB for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Expense Management. Additionally, they will be skilled in customizing inbound/outbound integrations between Workday and third-party systems such as banks, tax engines, and financial reporting tools.

Candidates should have experience in designing custom reports and dashboards for financial stakeholders using Workday Report Writer and BIRT. They should also be proficient in configuring and supporting financial business processes including journal processing, bank reconciliations, and supplier invoice automation.

A successful candidate will lead data conversion activities for finance modules including trial balances, assets, and open transactions.

Key Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of Workday Financials (General Ledger, Supplier Accounts, Customer Accounts, Assets)
  • Proficiency in Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Web Services (SOAP/REST)
  • Experience with Workday Prism, Calculated Fields, Custom Reports
  • Familiarity with XSLT, XPATH, XML, Workday BIRT Reporting
  • Knowledge of Workday Security, Business Process Configuration
  • Data Conversion & Validation skills
  • Functional understanding of P2P, O2C, R2R processes
  • Integration Testing & Troubleshooting expertise
  • Financial Reporting and Reconciliation capabilities
  • Agile & Waterfall SDLC methodologies
