Job Title: Industry Expert

We are seeking a skilled Industry Expert to join our team.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in helping clients grow and expand their engagements within various industries, including auto, aero, industrial machinery, electrical equipment, farm equipment, construction, heavy equipment, and power generation.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing strategic plans and delivering process and IT technology transformational initiatives via consulting skills
  • Providing thought leadership to deliver business value to clients, developing reusable assets in the process
  • Creating innovative solutions using digital and emerging technologies to address client problems
  • Contributing to business growth by identifying opportunities and influencing downstream IT projects
  • Demonstrating direct experience gained ideally within the continuous manufacturing industry and/or a consulting firm
  • Displaying demonstrable industry-based subject matter expertise in relevant functions/client base
  • Experiencing formal project management techniques (budgeting, planning, risk management)
  • Showcasing skill in business value-led approaches and helping shape client decision-making
  • Action-oriented and willing to take ownership
  • Tech-savvy with exposure to enterprise systems
  • Able to build relationships with clients at all levels, especially at the Program & Business Leadership levels

The desired skillset for this role includes:

  • Work experience and knowledge in product development process areas in continuous manufacturing industry (BoM Management, Configuration Management etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge in manufacturing value chain processes, industry trends, and enabling technologies
  • Technical expertise and hands-on experience in one or more PLM tools (Windchill, Team Center, SAP PLM, Enovia, etc.)
  • Work experience in Product Analytics area like Product performance, Reliability testing, Market analysis
  • Understanding of Enterprise technologies like PLM, ERP, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in any of the PLM/CAD/Engineering tools
  • Experience in Project Management

This is an exciting opportunity to provide subject matter expertise to front office client engagements. You will advise clients on best-of-breed solutions from process and technology standpoint, lead and help shape solution approaches and design, ensure delivery oversight and governance, execute large-scale transformational engagements, and provide business value leadership via consulting skills.
