Opcenter Core Specialist

The Opcenter Core Specialist plays a pivotal role in the planning, design, configuration, development, and testing of business-critical applications.

  • Plan, design, configure, implement, develop and maintain business applications to meet operational needs.
  • Analyze, design, configure, develop, and test requested functionality in the development environment.
  • Install and configure high availability solutions.
  • Support operations teams to test and accept new changes in the test environment.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to migrate newly developed functionality to production environments with minimal negative impact on the business.
  • Monitor applications to ensure normal operation in production lines.
  • Maintain documentation for key applications.
  • Follow industry-leading practices for software development life cycles and company policies and practices.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams for project and support activities.
  • Train junior or new members of the teams and users as required.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience and knowledge in planning, designing, configuring, developing, implementing, and maintaining business applications.
  • Experience in leading and implementing 2 or more deployments of business application implementations.
  • Proficiency in modeling, printing & labeling change, CIO setting, portal layout changes, and business rules.
  • Experience and knowledge in application design tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
  • Master of Science in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent preferred.
