Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Costing Specialist to join our interior fit-out team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cost estimation, tendering, procurement, and vendor management.

About the Role:

• Prepare and analyze tender documents, BOQs, and contracts to ensure accurate pricing and efficient project execution
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor bids to secure the best value for our clients

Cost Control & Budgeting:

• Monitor budgets and control costs to guarantee financial discipline and timely project completion
• Develop and implement effective cost plans, cash flows, and financial reports to support informed decision-making

Procurement & Vendor Management:

• Build and manage a robust vendor/supplier network to source quality materials at competitive prices
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to maintain project momentum

Contract Administration:

• Negotiate contracts, handle change orders, and resolve claims to minimize project risks and costs
• Guarantee compliance with all contractual obligations to protect our clients' interests

Quantity Takeoff & Estimation:

• Measure and quantify materials, labor, and equipment to support pricing and estimation for project tenders
• Analyze data to identify areas for cost savings without compromising quality

Site Coordination & Reporting:

• Conduct regular site visits to track progress, identify issues, and provide solutions
• Submit timely cost and progress reports to management to inform strategic decisions

Value Engineering & Risk Management:

• Develop cost-saving strategies that enhance project value without compromising quality or safety
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks to ensure successful project delivery
