Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to join our team as a Freelance Embedded Engineering Cybersecurity Consultant.

This role focuses on the development of secure architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance of runtime codebase in industrial automation. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity aspects and be able to work with cross-functional teams to ensure each release of the runtime SDK meets internal and external cybersecurity standards.

  • The successful candidate will have an engineering degree and 8-12 years' experience in code development for multitask embedded systems running in Linux, VxWorks/RTOS, and Windows.

In this role, you will work closely with our runtime Cybersecurity Advisor/Coach to ensure all code is developed according to Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL). You will also need to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in cybersecurity.

The ideal consultant should be able to work effectively with global teams and communicate complex technical information clearly. If you have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for cybersecurity, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the runtime Cybersecurity Advisor/Coach to ensure each release of the runtime SDK is developed according to SDL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all code meets internal and external cybersecurity standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in cybersecurity.
  • Communicate complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree (BS in Electrical, Computer Science, Robotics, or related discipline)
  • 8-12 years' experience in code development for multitask embedded systems running in Linux, VxWorks/RTOS, and Windows.
  • Strong programming skills with object-oriented design (C/C++) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell, PowerShell)
  • Familiarity with Open-source software (OSS), Git, GitHub, Debian GNU/Linux, Ubuntu
