Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned project coordinator to oversee the execution of various projects within our modular furniture manufacturing division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating between multiple teams, including design, production, procurement, and installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure timely completion.
  • Prepare and present proposals, budgets, and schedules to clients and stakeholders.

Design Coordination

  • Collaborate with interior designers, architects, and clients to finalize design concepts that meet client requirements and budget.
  • Ensure design specifications align with client expectations.
  • Oversee the development of technical drawings and documentation.

Budget & Cost Control

  • Establish and monitor project budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Approve procurement of materials, furniture, and fixtures while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Manage cost variations and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and select vendors, contractors, and suppliers based on their expertise and reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms that benefit both parties.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and installation processes to minimize delays.

Construction & Installation Oversight

  • Supervise on-site activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, workers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor progress and resolve issues promptly to avoid delays.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Address and rectify non-conformance issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results and corrective actions taken.

Schedule & Timeline Management

  • Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion of milestones and final delivery.
  • Track progress and adjust plans as needed to mitigate risks and optimize outcomes.
  • Provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

  • Maintain transparent communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide clear and concise information to address client queries and concerns.
  • Manage client expectations and negotiate mutually beneficial solutions.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to navigate complex project challenges.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in a field related to project management or a similar discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a project coordination or management role, preferably in the modular furniture manufacturing industry.
