Job Overview

  • This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, implement, and maintain scalable monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to guarantee high availability and performance.
  2. Develop and implement observability tools and practices to extract actionable insights from operational data.
  3. Collaborate with development teams to create scalable, reliable, and resilient systems on AWS.
  4. Contribute to platform engineering projects to design automated solutions for deployment, scaling, and operations.
  5. Assist in disaster recovery planning and participate in DR and capacity testing under supervision.
  6. Analyze system performance and provide recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  7. Participate in post-incident reviews, identifying root causes and preventive measures.
  8. Maintain documentation for system procedures, operations, and architecture configurations.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to site reliability and platform engineering.
  10. Participate in on-call rotations as needed to ensure 24/7 availability of critical systems and services.
