Job Title: Senior Cost Engineer

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing cost estimating, analysis, and control activities as directed. This role requires strong technical direction skills to provide guidance to assigned personnel when delegated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Estimating: Performs cost estimating activities including preparing and updating estimates, conducting cost reviews, and analyzing costs to identify areas of improvement.
  • Cost Analysis: Conducts thorough cost analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement. Develops and implements cost-saving strategies to optimize project performance.
  • Cost Control: Maintains accurate and up-to-date cost records, tracks expenditures, and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Technical Direction: Provides technical direction to assigned personnel, guiding them in their work and ensuring adherence to company standards and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in using multiple discipline-specific software applications, knowledge of capital cost and services cost, scope change management, engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in the EPC industry.
  • Communication and Leadership Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to lead and motivate team members to achieve project goals.
