Job Title: Plant and Machinery Manager

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with in-depth knowledge of plant and machinery departments. They will play a central role in decision-making processes, working closely with multiple teams and personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Erect, dismantle, maintain, and operate Luffing Jib tower cranes, passenger hoists, placer booms, etc.
  • Develop methodology for equipment erection, operation, and preparation of checklists.
  • Control spare parts inventory and cost optimization, source plant and machinery operators, mechanics, etc.
  • Generate local management information system (MIS) to mechanical heads at headquarters/project in charge.
  • Maintain site records of equipment, including log books, preventive maintenance records, and upkeep.
  • Prepare monthly budget estimates for spares and running expenses for each machine and monitor them on a regular basis.
  • Train personnel, workers, and operators on safe equipment usage and maintain records of repairs and servicing.
  • Ensure optimum use of plant and machinery corresponding to their rated productivity output.
  • Minimize equipment breakdowns and maximize availability at the site.
  • Create service schedules based on hours/Kms running and implement them to achieve minimum breakdowns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Organized
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Minimum Experience - 10 Years
