MongoDB Administrator RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled MongoDB Administrator to oversee the deployment and maintenance of MongoDB/Atlas Database projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing sharding and indexing strategies for maximum availability and performance.Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy, maintain, and optimize MongoDB/Atlas Database projects
  • Maintain detailed documentation of database design, architecture, and setups
  • Establish procedures for backup, recovery, and disaster recovery
  • Administer MongoDB to achieve maximum availability and performance
  • Design and implement sharding and indexing strategies for MongoDB
  • Configure and monitor replica sets
  • Perform patch upgrades
  • Design and build operational infrastructure to support databases, automating where possible
  • Establish database security procedures
  • Create users, assign roles, and manage permissions
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and standards
  • Provide technical support to users using incident management tools
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience with MongoDB administration, data modeling, and database security. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are also essential.
