Software Development Engineer in Test

This role involves working closely with development teams to ensure comprehensive testing and validation of new feature designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Automation Tools: Experience with tools such as JUnit, Jest, Mockito, Wire Mock, Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, C#, .Net, ASP .Net, Java, Core .Net.
  • QA Methodologies: Understanding of quality assurance methodologies, life cycle, and processes.
  • Programming Skills: Strong programming and debugging experience, excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Collaboration: Work with Development to review new feature designs and validate test specifications.
  • Defect Identification: Identify defects and own them through the resolution and verification cycle.
  • Test Creation: Substantial experience creating/updating/reviewing/executing automated and manual tests.
  • Functional Testing: Experience in functional testing and system testing.
  • End-to-End Testing: Experience in end-to-end testing and automation across various systems.
  • API Testing: Experience testing APIs (familiarity with REST, JSON, XML, Web API), Postman, Swagger.
  • Technologies: Experience with MSTest, RestSharp, NewtonSoft.Json, Fluent Assertions, Java, chai assertion library, and Typescript.
  • Agile Product Development: Exposure to working in agile product development model using concepts such as micro-services based development and deployment.
  • Critical Issues: Previously dealt with mission-critical production issues in terms of data volumes and speed of data.
  • Tools and Technologies: Experience with Git hub, Gitlab, JIRA, Jenkins, and Confluence.
  • Loading and Functional Testing: Experience with functional and load testing of web applications.
  • Database Technologies: Experience with Oracle, PL/SQL, My SQL, Bigdata technologies.
  • Operating Systems: Experience working with UNIX/Linux (command-line usage, simple shell scripting).

  • Experience: Substantial experience in software development and testing.
  • Skills: Strong programming and debugging skills, excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
