Quality Assurance Leader Job Summary

About the Role

This position oversees all quality assurance and control processes at our manufacturing facility for low-voltage electrical panels. It ensures compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and internal quality objectives.

The Plant Quality Head leads a team of quality professionals, drives continuous improvement, and maintains high product reliability and safety standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a Quality Management System to meet ISO 9001 and other relevant standards for LV electrical panel manufacturing.
  • Monitor and control quality processes throughout production stages from raw material inspection to final product testing.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians to achieve quality objectives.
  • E nsure adherence to industry standards and customer-specific requirements for LV electrical panels.
  • Drive process optimization initiatives, defect reduction, and quality improvement using Six Sigma, Lean, and root cause analysis tools.
  • Oversee testing procedures, including dielectric tests, temperature rise tests, and short-circuit withstand tests, to ensure product reliability and safety.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality specifications and conduct supplier audits as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related customer queries, complaints, and audits.
  • Maintain accurate quality records, prepare reports, and present quality performance metrics to senior management.
  • Identify potential quality risks and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate them.
  • Conduct training programs for employees on quality standards, processes, and best practices.
