Job Title: Service Engineering Specialist

Role Overview

This position plays a pivotal role in supporting technical experts with complex service-related tasks, particularly those involving main bearing issues.

The specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining critical documents in Teamcenter and Windchill, ensuring that all mechanical experts have access to accurate and up-to-date information.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with global technical experts within the Service Engineering team
  • Serve as a focal point of contact for technical issues between local business units and central business units
  • Assign tasks along the technical support process
  • Collect performance data on mechanical components of wind turbines
  • Identify and report potential serial issues
  • Evaluate risk potential, budget, and schedule necessary activities related to major non-conformities
  • Support local business units in developing sustainable solutions for mechanical problems related to wind turbine drive trains
  • Create repair and inspection instructions for mechanical component assemblies
  • Define, implement, and obtain service processes for mechanical assemblies
  • Improve internal standards and processes and ensure knowledge transfer between relevant departments and locations
Career Requirements
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in Mechanical drive trains and roller bearings (design, development, evaluation of fault conditions, error analysis)
  • Proven experience in project coordination or similar roles
  • Strong analytical and data manipulation skills in Excel
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Good stakeholder management, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of technical background
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge in Teamcenter PLM, Windchill PLM, SAP, and troubleshooting
