Cloud Application Specialist Position

Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned cloud expert to join our team as a Cloud Application Specialist. This highly skilled professional will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying innovative applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform, leveraging their expertise in the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP). The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business transformation and efficiency by providing cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of our organization.

  • Design and Develop Applications: Utilize SAP BTP and CAP to design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable applications that drive business value.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring that solutions meet the needs of our stakeholders.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation for developed applications, ensuring that all stakeholders have access to necessary information.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor application performance and optimize as needed to ensure that solutions meet or exceed expectations.
  • Support and Training: Provide excellent support and training to end-users and team members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills to utilize new applications effectively.
  • Stay Current with Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in SAP technologies, recommending improvements and innovations that enhance our solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in SAP BTP, with a strong focus on CAP and cloud application development.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Node.js, or JavaScript.
  • Development Tools: Experience with SAP Business Application Studio and related development tools.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
