About the SAP Security Specialist Role

Our organization requires an experienced and skilled SAP Basis Authorization Specialist to oversee various aspects of SAP security.

Responsibilities:
  • Security Management: Create, maintain, and manage SAP user accounts, roles, and authorizations in accordance with industry-standard security best practices.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular security audits and compliance checks to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions to ensure adherence to organizational and industry security standards.
  • SAP Security Governance: Develop, implement, and maintain SAP security policies, procedures, and guidelines to safeguard user access and system integrity.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve SAP authorization-related issues by collaborating with functional and technical teams to troubleshoot and provide effective solutions.
  • Integration and Collaboration: Work closely with the SAP Basis and ABAP teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures across the SAP landscape, maintaining optimal system performance.
  • User Education and Support: Provide training and guidance to end-users and internal teams on SAP security best practices to ensure secure and efficient use of the SAP environment.
  • Documentation and Monitoring: Maintain up-to-date documentation on SAP security configurations, roles, and authorization changes to facilitate clear records for audits and system updates.
  • System Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor SAP security logs and performance to identify potential threats or performance issues and take prompt corrective action.
