Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional Chief Analog Design Engineer to lead our analog design efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analog circuit design, layout, and verification, with expertise in high-speed, high-precision, and low-power designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Owning complete products from conception to delivery, including working closely with systems teams to analyze product feasibility and architect designs for production.
  • Designing and verifying analog circuits, including those involving high-speed, high-current delivery, and low-noise applications.
  • Taking ownership of full chip design, layout, and documentation, as well as technical scheduling and planning.
  • Leading design reviews and creating necessary documentation, including design, verification, and product documentation.
  • Collaborating with systems teams to develop circuit architectures based on datasheet/system specifications and closing spec gaps.
  • Supporting validation and apps teams to model the interaction of passive components and board parasitics.
  • Working closely with the ATE test team to ensure test plans, schematics, and layouts are verified.
  • Participating hands-on in silicon debug, assisting in characterization and quality support.
  • Driving innovation in methodologies and tools, working with the EDA team to upgrade flows.
Requirements:
  • Strong analog fundamentals and problem-solving skills, with in-depth knowledge of analog mixed-signal concepts like mismatch mitigation, linearity, stability, low-power, and low-noise techniques.
  • Solid understanding and experience of designing linear circuit blocks, including bandgap, biasing circuits, LDO regulators, amplifiers, and comparators.
  • Experience handling complexities at the full chip level, including aspects like IOs, ESD, and memory.
  • Experience in silicon debug and reviewing analog block and full chip layouts.
  • Good understanding of tools, DV, and layout.
  • Excellent mentoring, communication, presentation skills, and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong electrical engineering fundamentals and creative problem-solving aptitude.
  • Self-motivated with initiative to drive results.
