Job Description:

The ideal candidate will serve as a key member of our maintenance team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.

  • Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation), along with professional certifications such as Energy Manager and TPM Facilitator.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a large plant is required, with a proven track record in maintenance & utilities management.

Nature of Experience:

  • Responsibilities include maintaining equipment such as pasteurizers, separators, bactofuges, vacuum pumps, DSI units, high-pressure pumps, blowers, fluid beds, sifters, cheddar masters, and cookers.
  • The successful candidate will oversee utilities equipment like boilers, steam networks, ammonia and freon-based refrigeration systems, compressed air and nitrogen generation systems, VAMs, ROs, UF systems, sand and carbon filters, pumps, DG sets, and transformers.
  • Advanced maintenance practices such as RCA, CAPA, MTBF, MTTR, preventive and predictive maintenance, electronics equipment monitoring tools, and tackles are expected.
  • The role requires experience in preparing and monitoring budgets, setting and improving energy standards, identifying and executing cost-saving ideas, and achieving plant KPIs such as productivity, losses, complaint reduction, specific energy consumption, and production lines OEE improvement.
  • Effective people management skills are crucial, including managing a team of 100 people, identifying training needs, performance assessment, and inculcating a human safety culture.
  • A strong analytical thought process is necessary to bring new concepts in maintenance practices, energy management, and setting new standards.
  • Liaising with government agencies and local administration is also essential.
