Textile Artisan

Nestasia is seeking a creative and innovative Textile Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in print design with prior experience in an export house, specifically in the bedsheet category.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop trend-forward print designs for bedsheets and other home furnishing categories (e.g., curtains, cushions, table linens).
• Translate global and domestic trends into commercial designs suited for the retail market.
• Work closely with merchandising and sourcing teams to align design output with product planning and timelines.
• Coordinate with production and vendors to ensure quality and accuracy in sampling and final output.

Required Skills:

• 1.5 – 2 years of hands-on experience in textile/print design, preferably in an export house.
• Expertise in bedsheet design and familiarity with both soft and hard furnishings.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD software.
• Strong design sensibility with an eye for detail, color, and composition.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with multiple stakeholders.

Candidates must be degree holders in Textile/Fashion Design from NIFT, NID, or other reputed design institutions.
