Tech Mahindra is seeking an experienced Camunda Process Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing process automation solutions using Camunda BPMN modeling and execution.

About the Role

This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and process endpoints, modeling end-to-end processes using BPMN, and implementing process orchestration logic to drive both choreographed and orchestrated workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and process endpoints
  • Model end-to-end processes using BPMN, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Implement process orchestration logic to drive both choreographed and orchestrated workflows
  • Leverage Camunda to create robust process orchestrations in headless manner
  • Configure workflow engines, define process instances, and manage execution paths
  • Integrate with microservices and external systems using Camunda connectors
  • Design and implement microservice-based architectures
  • Coordinate communication and data flow between microservices
  • Optimize performance, resilience, and fault tolerance
  • Optimize deployment configurations including integrations with CI/CD pipelines
  • Configure the product for security
  • Configuration of state store for HA and Failover scenarios
  • Familiarity with Camunda licensing and price calculus
  • Balancing cost optimization with performance
  • Set up monitoring dashboards to track process execution
  • Identify bottlenecks, optimize resource utilization, and improve process efficiency
  • Continuously enhance process models based on data-driven insights
  • In-depth understanding of the business environment, its processes and complexities of the organization and apply the knowledge towards the proposed work program
  • Design and validate solutions that are practical, flexible, resilient, scalable, reusable, and strategic
  • Institute and lead the adoption of best practices and standards, to improve the quality of the deliverables
  • Ensure best practices are adhered to in the adoption of new technologies
  • Work closely with development teams, bridging the gap between design and implementation
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous learning
  • Interact with other Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise Platform teams to ensure that solutions are built in adherence with the defined enterprise standards
  • Manage daily technical challenges and communicate with management if there are any risks or issues
Requirements
  • About 8+ years of experience in process orchestration and workflow automation
  • Proficiency in Camunda BPMN modeling and execution
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, message queues, and event-driven architectures
  • Knowledge of Azure cloud platform for scalable deployments
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills
  • Hands-on prototyping and direct dev experience required
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and operations
  • Stay informed about Camunda updates and best practices for process orchestration
  • Ability to deliver functionality incrementally adopting agile practices
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Experience with IT projects in the Financial Industry
  • Experience with IT projects utilizing multiple technologies and frameworks, particularly agile/hybrid agile
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Deep knowledge and experience of Microsoft Azure cloud platform and services in an enterprise environment
  • Experience with IaaS/PaaS cloud architectures and patterns (e.g., horizontal scaling, immutability, 12-factor design)
  • Prior experience with leading cloud native solution development initiatives
  • Experience with delivering effective strategies for cloud integration
  • Experience designing and implementing CI/CD toolchains leveraging Microsoft TFS, Git/SVN, Chef
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to define technology roadmaps and evaluate total-cost-of-ownership of solutions
  • Experience evaluating cloud service designs and alternatives to achieve desired balance of performance, risk, and cost
  • Experience managing programs and/or multiple projects, including simultaneous task assignments
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all management levels
  • Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Organized, agile, persistent, and proactive
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly, self-starters and motivated
  • Able to work with others, and communicate effectively
