Job Title: Visual Communication Designer Leader

Job Description:

This is a leadership role in visual communication design and strategy, where the candidate's core responsibilities include delivering and/or leading multiple, often complex, design projects from concept through to execution.

  • Deliver design projects that adhere to design briefs, timelines, and budgets while working with teams internally and externally to develop design briefs & strategies.
  • Develop graphic communication strategies for brand identity, information design, typography, cultural identity & context, and user experience and user interface (UI/UX) projects.
  • Provide design observations and solutions, producing artworks such as infographics, maps, icons, and conducting site analyses to understand environmental and user behavior factors.

The ideal candidate will have experience in visual communication design & strategy with a solid understanding of user-centered design and user experience principles.

They will also have experience in large scale projects such as townships, airports, healthcare, mixed use & commercial developments, and an excellent design portfolio.

The candidate should be able to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team, collaborate/manage a team to ensure quick project turn around, and travel to sites and clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's Degree holder of Graphic Design/Communication Design.
  2. Minimum 6 years professional experience in communication design, information design, sign design, wayfinding design, print/digital design, branding & identity design.
  3. Experience in large scale projects such as townships, airports, healthcare, mixed use & commercial developments.
  4. Excellent design portfolio.
  5. Good communication and presentation skills.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
  7. Willingness to travel to sites and clients.
