Job Title: Technical Operations Manager

\

This is a highly demanding role that requires a skilled and experienced professional to manage and guide a team of support engineers and infrastructure specialists. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in end-user support and IT infrastructure management, with a strong understanding of technical concepts and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Act as a technical lead and escalation authority for all end-user support and infrastructure issues.\
  • Monitor and manage issues related to end-user devices and applications, global network infrastructure, and Azure services.\
  • Ensure critical incidents are triaged, escalated, and resolved within established service level agreements.\
  • Oversee ticket lifecycle in tools like JIRA and ensure proper documentation and closure.\
  • Lead the night/weekend operations team and ensure smooth shift execution.\
  • Coordinate shift handovers with clear status updates and pending actions.\
  • Track and manage staff availability, including leave planning and replacements.\
  • Drive knowledge transfers, team mentoring, and technical upskilling.\
  • Generate and analyze shift-wise operational reports and identify recurring issues.\
  • Contribute to continual service improvement initiatives.\
  • Supervise the performance of support and infrastructure engineers.\
  • Conduct regular 1:1s and feedback sessions.\
  • Collaborate with senior management on team KPIs.\
  • Enforce team discipline, shift compliance, and professional standards.\
  • Required skills and qualifications include:\
    • \
    • At least 2 years in a team lead or escalation role in a 24x7 environment.\
    • Deep understanding of M365, Intune, Defender, Windows, MacOS, Linux, Networking, Azure, AD, Entra ID, and cloud infrastructure.\
    • Strong working knowledge of monitoring and troubleshooting tools like Zabbix, PRTG, Sentinel, NetFlow, and SIEM.\
    • Exceptional problem-solving, triaging, and escalation handling capabilities.\
    • Proven experience working in a globally distributed support environment.\
    • Fluent communication with a neutral and clear English accent.\
    • Excellent reporting, documentation, and presentation skills.\
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Modern Desktop Administrator.\
    • ITIL Foundation or higher.\
