About the Role:We are seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to join our team. As a senior cloud infrastructure engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available container orchestration platforms using Docker and Kubernetes.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and Implement Scalable Platforms: Develop and deploy containerized applications on-premises or in public cloud environments (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP).
- CI/CD Pipelines and Automation: Create and manage CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automation frameworks to ensure seamless deployment and scaling of applications.
- Monitoring and Logging: Deploy, configure, and maintain monitoring/logging solutions leveraging the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) to provide real-time insights into application performance.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to establish best practices for infrastructure as code, configuration management, and release engineering.
- System Reliability: Drive efforts toward system reliability, scalability, and performance optimization by troubleshooting and resolving issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior team members and contribute to DevOps process improvements and strategy.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure security, compliance, and governance are adhered to in all DevOps operations.
- On-Call Support: Participate in on-call rotations for production support, when necessary.
- 15+ years overall experience in the software industry, with strong exposure to large-scale enterprise environments.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with:
- Docker: containerization, image management, best practices
- Kubernetes: architecture, deployment, scaling, upgrades, troubleshooting
- ELK stack: design, deployment, maintenance, performance tuning, dashboard creation
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.)
- Proficiency with one or more scripting/programming languages (Python, Bash, Go, etc.)
- Strong background in infrastructure automation and configuration management (Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
- Solid understanding of networking, load balancing, firewalls, and security best practices.
- Experience with public cloud platforms is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (CKA, CKAD, AWS DevOps Engineer, etc.)
- Experience with microservices architecture and service mesh solutions.
- Exposure to application performance monitoring (APM) tools
