Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on GCP and Azure. This involves creating cloud-native architectures for LLM-based products and services.

  • We are seeking a skilled professional with experience in designing and implementing complex network architectures.
  • A strong understanding of cloud security best practices, including encryption and access controls.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing VPNs, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and other network connectivity solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize cloud-native architectures for LLM-based products and services
  • Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for AI model deployment and updates
  • Collaborate with AI product manager, data engineers to transform prototypes into production
  • Implement best practices in MLOps/AI Ops for model versioning, monitoring, and automation
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and integration
  • Develop & maintain network architecture, like VPCs, subnets, routing tables, security groups, etc.
  • Collect requirements, design service & resource configuration, and implement configuration for GCD and Azure resource/services
  • Configure and manage VPNs, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and other network connectivity
  • Implement and manage cloud-based firewalls, palo alto firewalls, load balancers, Meraki switches/access points, and other network security measures
  • Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring low latency and high availability
  • Collaborate with MSPs remotely to transition client's existing on-prem network devices, ensuring seamless integration with cloud infrastructure
  • Experience working with network scanning tools to determine access points & potential vulnerabilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Operations Suite, Datadog, Splunk, etc.
  • Implement and manage security measures, including policies, encryption etc.
  • Stay up to date with the latest cloud and network engineering trends, technologies, best practices
  • Stay updated on emerging AI innovations including Generative AI, Agentic AI, and foundation models (GPT, Gemini, Copilot)

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with a focus on GCP and Azure
  • A master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proficiency in GCP/Azure services such as VMs, Storage, SQL Database & SQL Managed Instance, and Functions
  • Strong expertise in network engineering, including designing and managing complex network architectures
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing VPNs, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and other network connectivity solutions
  • Experience with cloud-based firewalls, load balancers, and network security best practices
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Experience working with MSPs to manage on-prem network devices and ensure seamless integration with cloud infrastructure
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues
