Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled system administrator to join our team in ensuring the stability and performance of our products.

  • Work on 24x7 shifts using various internal tools to guarantee seamless operations.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve production site issues effectively.
  • Communicate clearly on tickets, phone calls made to the team about various technical issues.
Key Skills

Requirements for this role include:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Graduate degree in Information Technology or Computer Science with consistently strong academic performance.
  • Proficient understanding of Linux Systems, Bash, sed/awk/grep/egrep, VI/VIM/Emacs, netstat, lsof, strace, ps/top/atop/dstat, grub boot config & systems rescue, fstab/disk labels, ext3/ext4, IPtables, sysstat (sar/vmstat/iostat etc), run-levels & startup scripts, sudo/chroot/chkrootkit/rkhunter.
  • Knowledge of TCP/UDP, DNS, Networking fundamentals.
  • Application protocols including SMTP, HTTP, FTP, IMAP, POP.

Preferred qualifications include an understanding of Cloud technology and knowledge of applications such as Postfix/qmail/Exim, Database Systems Fundamentals (MySQL/Postgres), Nginx/Apache (mod_php, mod_fcgid, CGI, php-fpm etc), Tomcat.
