Process Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Process Design Engineer with experience in optimizing column internals such as trays, structured packings, random packings, distributors, and demisters. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing mass transfer and separation processes for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize column internals to improve mass transfer efficiency.">
  • Conduct process simulations and calculations for distillation, absorption, and stripping applications.">
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturing compatibility of internals.">
  • Perform hydraulic and efficiency calculations to recommend suitable internals for specific process requirements.">
  • Provide technical support and customer consultations to enhance client satisfaction.">

Requirements

The candidates should be graduates in Chemical Engineering from recognized universities and have 2-5 years of experience in process design. They should possess a strong understanding of distillation, absorption, extraction, and phase separation principles. Additionally, they should have knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat & mass transfer, thermodynamics, and pressure drop calculations.

Preferred Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field is required. Proficiency in process simulation tools such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or ChemCAD is a plus. Experience with technical drawings and CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is also beneficial.
