Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations staff, you will be responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies that maximize customer satisfaction while minimizing costs.

">

The successful candidate will have 10+ years of experience in material planning and supply chain management, with a strong background in ERP systems and logistics. You will lead the supply chain team in executing best practices, measuring performance through KPIs, and directing global supply chain functions.

Your responsibilities will include:

">
  • Developing appropriate supply chain strategies to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.">
  • Leading the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed-upon KPIs.">
  • DIRECTING AND COORDINATING GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN FUNCTIONS THROUGH STRATEGY, RESOURCE OPTIMIZATION, PROFITABILITY MAXIMIZATION, AND KPIs RESULTING IN THE MAXIMIZATION OF CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.">
  • PLANNING, MANAGING, AND COORDINATING ALL ACTIVITIES RELATED TO THE SOURCING AND PROCUREMENT OF NECESSARY MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES NEEDED TO MEET THE CHANGING LEVELS OF PRODUCTION DEMAND.">
  • WORKING WITH PLANT, WAREHOUSE, AND LOGISTICS DEPARTMENTS TO DETERMINE AND SET UP IMPORT AND DOMESTIC LOGISTICS.">
  • COLLABORATING WITH THE PROCUREMENT DEPARTMENT TO DETERMINE BEST PRACTICE FOR FREIGHT IN AND FREIGHT CONSOLIDATION.">
  • WORKING DIRECTLY WITH THE SALES DEPARTMENT TO DETERMINE THE MOST COST-EFFECTIVE DISTRIBUTION SOLUTION FOR FINISHED GOODS TRANSPORTATION TO CUSTOMERS.">
  • SUPPORTING PROPER UTILIZATION OF ERP SYSTEMS.">
  • MEMBER OF THE OPERATIONS STAFF, RESPONSIBLE TO ROUTINELY REPORT ON DEPARTMENT KPIs ALONG WITH APPROPRIATE ANALYSIS AND COUNTERMEASURES WHERE NECESSARY.">

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • 10+ years of experience in material planning and supply chain management.">
  • Strong background in ERP systems and logistics.">
  • B.Tech/Masters in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics engineering or Masters with specialization in Business / Supply chain.">
  • Excellent data analysis and logical thinking skills.">
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with international vendors.">
  • Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional, cross-cultural team members.">
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.">
  • Excellent organizing and follow-up skills.">
  • Competent in problem-solving, team building, planning, and decision-making.">
  • Commercial and financial acumen.">
