About the Role

As a Country Lead in India, you will drive business development efforts and facilitate the energy transition through innovative, finance-focused approaches. You will lead market expansion initiatives and manage complex projects that align with our mission to advance climate and energy solutions.

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in climate, energy transition, finance, and business development.
  • Exceptional communication skills and strong connections within the Indian power and/or finance community.
  • A deep understanding of India's electricity, capital, and financial markets.
  • Proven track record in deal closure, particularly in debt and/or equity financing in India, including project finance, private debt, loan syndication, and structured finance.
  • Prior experience in country team management or a supervisory role is preferred.
  • Highly professional and reliable in their approach
  • Proficiency in financial modeling is required.
  • Strong team player mentality with the ability to manage both teams and large transactions.
  • Proven success in client management.
  • Entrepreneurial, creative, and self-driven.
