Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist Software Engineering professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting systems, leading technical teams, prioritizing work, and executing projects with precision. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with stakeholders, learn new technologies, and mentor junior colleagues.

Responsibilities:

"
  • Understand the product that your team works on within 3 months
  • Get the full knowledge of the technical platform that we work on
  • Familiarize yourself with our ecosystem, CI/CD processes, ways of working, support functions, and coffee machine
  • Be able to showcase your learnings on the project back to the team
  • Pair with your colleagues on new developments and see to their delivery
  • Participate in different ceremonies. Understand their purpose. Get acquainted with our stakeholders
  • Shore up your knowledge on Pharmaceutical Processes around Forecasting

Goals for the First Year:

  • Collaborate on idea generation, definition, and construction with teams across the company
  • Learn about the newest techniques and technologies and share with others to improve our team culture and ways of working
  • Reassess our products frequently to enhance models, user experience, performance, and stability
  • Mentor and train new joinees and existing peers

Education and Qualifications:

"
  • Engineering in Computer Science or post-graduates plus
"

Required Experience and Skills:

"
  • 8+ years of experience in relevant roles; with 1-2 years of experience in pharmaceutical strategic forecasting or analytics as an added plus
  • Excellent programming skills with Python, AWS Cloud, Micro Services, Data Modelling, and API design with knowledge of Agile processes
  • Excellent knowledge in building Enterprise Applications, define the overall structure and design of software systems
