Cloud Storage Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Storage Specialist to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Ceph, ZFS, and NFS storage technologies, as well as proficiency in container runtimes (Docker, containerd), Helm, and cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Key responsibilities include designing and implementing distributed storage systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to storage, networking, and container orchestration systems, and collaborating with development and SRE teams to ensure seamless CI/CD and infrastructure reliability.

  • Design and Implement Distributed Storage Systems: Design and implement distributed storage systems using Ceph, ZFS, and NFS for use across hybrid and cloud-native environments.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to storage, networking, and container orchestration systems.
  • Implement Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for infrastructure using tools like Prometheus.
  • Collaborate with Development and SRE Teams: Collaborate with development and SRE teams to ensure seamless CI/CD and infrastructure reliability.
  • Document Architectural Decisions: Document architectural decisions, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
  • Participate in On-Call Rotation: Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.

Requirements include 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles, proficient knowledge of Ceph and ZFS administration, solid experience managing NFS servers and performance tuning, and preferred knowledge of Kubernetes internals, networking, and cluster lifecycle management.
