We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OpenShift Architect to lead the design, deployment, and management of enterprise-scale OpenShift clusters.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing solution architectures, implementing cluster deployments, securing environments, monitoring resources, and integrating storage solutions. Hands-on technical expertise is required.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cluster Design & Deployment:
    • Design and implement RedHat OpenShift clusters across production and lab environments.
    • Set up air-gapped OCP installations on HPE Synergy 480 Gen 11 (production) and HPE BL460c Gen 10 (lab).
    • Develop High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation for OCP deployments.
  • Security & Best Practices:
    • Apply CIS Security Hardening for Kubernetes and underlying nodes.
    • Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), image policies, Kubernetes security policies, and certificate management.
  • Networking & Infrastructure:
    • Configure DNS, DHCP, and NTP for cluster networking.
    • Integrate Kubernetes clusters with network switches and SAN storage.
  • Storage & Logging:
    • Set up Portworx for persistent storage.
    • Deploy Container Registry.
    • Integrate Elasticsearch + Kibana for application logs.
  • Monitoring & Observability:
    • Deploy Prometheus & Grafana dashboards for monitoring cluster resources.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in designing and deploying large-scale OpenShift clusters.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes security practices.
  • Familiarity with containerized applications and microservices architecture.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
